I entered the right password but it’s still not working

If you’re sure your password is correct, here are the most common reasons:

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

LinkedIn may require an additional approval step.

What to do:

  • Check your email

  • Check your phone (SMS)

  • Check your LinkedIn app notifications

  • Approve the login, then try again

If you don't have any verification code OR if the code doesn't work :

  • try again after 5-10 minutes

  • desactivate the 2FA on your LinkedIn account and try again


Temporary LinkedIn restriction

Sometimes LinkedIn blocks new logins temporarily.

What to do:

  • Wait 15–30 minutes

  • Try again later

  • Avoid repeated attempts


Session conflict

Too many active LinkedIn sessions can cause errors.

What to do:

  • Log out of LinkedIn everywhere

  • Restart your browser

  • Retry the connection
