My campaign doesn't work

In most cases, when you think something is wrong with your campaign, there is actually nothing wrong. The confusion usually comes from the way Gojiberry campaigns work, which can be different from what you might expect at first ;)

So before checking whether there is really an issue with your campaign, here is a quick reminder of how campaigns work.

How do the campaigns work?

The actions in your campaign (invitations, messages, profile visits, follow-ups, etc.) are not launched continuously or instantly.

Their sending depends on several factors:

  • the active days

  • the launch period

  • human-like sending behavior

  • the weekly quotas

  • the contact score

Active days

Actions can only be sent on the days selected in your campaign settings. If a day is not part of the active days, no action will be launched on that day, even if the campaign is active. By default the active days are Monday to Friday.

Launch period

Actions can only be sent during the launch period set in your campaign settings. This launch period is a 4-hour sending window. Outside of this window, no actions will be sent.

Human-like sending behavior

During this 4-hour sending window, actions are sent progressively, in batches, rather than all at once. This helps mimic natural human activity on LinkedIn and keeps the sending behavior safer. It is also the reason why actions are only sent during a 4-hour window, rather than continuously throughout the day.

Weekly quotas

Action sending also depends on weekly quotas for invitations, messages, and profile visits. Because of these limits, actions are spread over time instead of being sent immediately, even when many leads are available. This also helps mimic natural human activity on LinkedIn and keeps the sending behavior safer.

Contact score

When several campaigns use the same LinkedIn account as sender, they share the same quotas, and these quotas are not split equally between campaigns. Gojiberry prioritizes the warmest contacts first, based on the contact score.

That said, if you believe there is an issue because no action was launched even though the campaign was within its launch period, on an active day, and there were no quota issues or conflicts with other campaigns, then please go through the following checks.

Check #1: Is the campaign active and not paused?

If your campaign is paused, click on "start campaign" to activate it. The next actions will be launched during your next launch period.

Check #2: Is the sender properly connected (status: “Connected”)?

If not, click on the status to connect the LinkedIn account sender.

Check #3: Is there an input list in the workflow, and does that list contain contacts?

Check #4: Have you received any LinkedIn notification indicating that a limit has been reached (in the LinkedIn notification center)?

To check this, click on the bell on the top left corner.

Check #5: In the campaign settings, is "review mode" disabled?

When enabled, the campaign doesn't work in automatic, you need to manually approve (or reject) each contact before they are added to the next step of your campaign.

Check #6: Does the campaign still have leads that can move forward in the workflow (are there still actions that can be performed)?

If all leads in the list have already received the invitation, and all contacts who accepted the invitation have already gone through all the final steps of the workflow, then the workflow has reached its end.

In that case, new leads need to be added as input, either through an agent or through another list, or you need to wait for pending invitation acceptances in order to unlock further message sends.
