Gojiberry uses a proxy based on your LinkedIn country that you select. But why?
🔐 Why Location Matters
LinkedIn closely monitors login activity, including:
IP address
Geographic location
Device patterns
If your account suddenly logs in from a different country or unusual location, LinkedIn may flag it as suspicious activity. This can lead to:
Temporary restrictions
Security checks
In more severe cases, account limitations
🌐 How Gojiberry Handles This
To avoid these issues, Gojiberry uses a location-aligned proxy system 👍
This means:
Your LinkedIn account is accessed through a proxy server
The proxy is set to a region similar to where you insert in the settings manually
This keeps your login behavior consistent and natural
👉 In practice, LinkedIn sees your activity as coming from a familiar location, reducing the risk of triggering alerts.
⚙️ How to set up
To keep your account safe, make sure it’s correctly configured:
Go to Settings → LinkedIn Account
Select the account that you want to set the country
Select your Country
Save
This helps:
Improve safety
Improve deliverability
Avoid suspicious activity
🔧 Advanced: Using Your Own Proxy
For advanced users, Gojiberry also allows you to configure your own custom proxy if you prefer
You can find this option at the bottom of the Update LinkedIn Sender page.
This can be useful if:
You already use dedicated proxies
You want more control over your LinkedIn connection location
You manage multiple LinkedIn accounts with your own proxy infrastructure
⚠️ Important: We recommend only using high-quality, stable proxies to avoid LinkedIn security issues or connection instability.
