Companies that visit your website are some of your warmest prospects. Website visitors turns those visits into leads: add a small tracking script to your site, Gojiberry recognizes the companies behind your visits and adds the right people there to your campaign. Each new company costs 4 credits, returning companies are free, and you choose a monthly limit so you always stay in control.
How it works
Once the tracking script is on your website, Gojiberry recognizes the company behind each visit. It never names the person who visited: it tells you which company was on your website, then finds the right people there for you.
The company is checked against your target. Gojiberry compares its industry and company size with your ideal customer profile.
The right people are added. When the company fits, Gojiberry looks for up to 20 people there who match your job titles and locations, and adds the ones that reach your minimum lead score to your campaign. They work at the company that visited you, but they may not be the person who visited.
Your existing contacts get a signal. Matching people who are already in your contacts aren't added twice: they get a "visited your website" signal instead.
Companies outside your target are not added automatically, but you still see them and can pick people there yourself. The same goes for companies in your blocklist and, if you use AI Filtering, competitors: nobody there is added automatically, they still show in the Activity tab, and you can add people yourself if you want.
When a company comes back to your website, it isn't charged again: your contacts at that company get a new "visited your website again" signal, so you know the interest is still there.
ℹ️ Only the countries you target
Visitors are only identified when they browse from one of the countries in your agent's targeting. If your targeting has no country, or is set to all locations, visitors from every country are identified.
Who can use it
Website visitors is in Beta and is being rolled out progressively. If you see it marked Coming soon, it is not available on your workspace yet.
It needs an active paid subscription. If your subscription ends, identification stops, and it starts again on its own when you subscribe again.
⚠️ You stay responsible for your website
You are the data controller for your visitors: your privacy policy must mention this tracking, and where consent is required, your website needs a working cookie banner. Gojiberry processes the data on your behalf.
Turn it on
Open your campaign's lead sources. In your campaign, open the Sources tab and click Lead sources.
Pick Website visitors. It's in the Live signals list.
Click Activate tracking. Website visitors is now on, and we email you the tracking script so you can share it with whoever manages your website.
Click Activate tracking to turn Website visitors on.
Set your monthly limit. Choose how many companies you want identified per month (50, 100, 200, or any amount you type, in steps of 10). The cost recap below updates as you change it. Click Save.
The monthly limit and its cost recap: 200 companies means up to 800 credits a month.
Nothing is identified until the tracking script is on your website, which is the next step.
Add the tracking script to your website
The tracking script (sometimes called a tracking pixel) is a short piece of code that goes on your website. It's unique to your workspace, so always copy it from Gojiberry.
Open the setup window. On the Website visitors source card, click Set up → (or Tracking script once it's set up). You'll also find a Set up tracking button in the signal's settings, right below the on/off switch.
Confirm you're allowed to install it. The first time, we ask you to confirm that you're authorised to add this script to your website and that your privacy information and cookie banner are in place.
Add your domains. List every website address where the script will run, up to 5. Each one counts on its own: if your site works both with and without "www", add both (for example acme.com and www.acme.com). Visitors on other addresses are not identified.
Click Edit on Tracked domains to add up to 5 website addresses, then Save domains.
Choose how to install it.
Install with AI: copy a ready-made prompt and paste it into an AI website builder or coding tool, such as Lovable, Replit, Cursor or Claude Code.
Send to my developer: enter their email and we send them the script with clear instructions.
Manual: copy the script and paste it on every page of your website, ideally in the page header, once per page.
Send to my developer emails the script with step-by-step instructions. You can edit the message first.
Check that it works. Once the script is live on your website, click I've installed it — verify now. The source card's Setup required tag is replaced by a green dot.
💡 The green dot appears after your first visit
We confirm the installation when the first visit on one of your domains reaches us, even if its company isn't recognized. A visit reaches us about half an hour after the visitor leaves your website, so on a quiet website give it a day or two before worrying.
Wait for cookie consent
If your website has a cookie banner, you'll usually want visitors to accept cookies before they are identified. Website visitors supports this out of the box.
The tracking script you copy from Gojiberry includes an optional "consent" line, switched off by default. To wait for consent:
Switch on the consent line in the script, as explained in the note inside it. With this line on, the script stays idle when the page loads.
Start tracking when the visitor accepts. In your cookie banner settings, add the start command written in that same note to the "Accept" action. Most cookie tools let you run a small script when a visitor accepts.
The Manual tab shows the script. The comment at the top explains how to switch on the consent line.
That's it: visitors who accept are identified, visitors who refuse are not. If the consent line stays off, identification starts as soon as the page loads.
💡 Not sure how to do it?
Use Send to my developer or Install with AI and mention your cookie banner: the instructions they receive already cover this case.
See your results
Back on your campaign's Sources tab, open the Website visitors card to see your last 30 days at a glance:
Line | What it means |
Matched your ICP | Companies that fit your target. Matching people were added to your leads. |
Did not match ICP | Companies identified, but outside your target. Nobody was added automatically. |
Companies identified | All companies identified, compared with your monthly limit. |
Credits used | Credits used this month, compared with your monthly maximum. |
Open the Website visitors card on the Sources tab for your last 30 days.
Click See companies to open the campaign's Activity tab filtered on Website visitors. Each company shows what happened: leads added, a fit with your target but no matching contact, outside your target, in your blocklist, or flagged as a competitor. When nobody was added automatically, you can still click Find contacts, browse its employees and pick who to add, at no extra cost.
The Activity tab, filtered on Website visitors. Each company shows what happened, and Find contacts lets you pick people yourself.
New leads appear in your campaign like the ones from your other signals, with Website visitors as their source. Visits show up about half an hour after the visitor leaves your website, not while they are still browsing.
What it costs
Item | Details |
New company identified | 4 credits from your credit balance, whether or not anyone is added (companies outside your target, in your blocklist, or flagged as competitors included). Each company is charged once per campaign. |
Returning company | Free, however long ago its first visit was. Your contacts at that company get a new signal showing it came back. |
Company not recognized | Free. Nothing is recorded. |
Monthly limit | You choose it, in companies per month. Maximum credits = companies × 4. For example, 100 companies means up to 400 credits a month. |
Adding people yourself | No extra cost when you use Find contacts from the Activity tab. |
When the monthly limit is reached, Gojiberry stops identifying visitors until your limit resets, then starts again on its own. The limit resets every month on the day of the month your campaign was created, not on the 1st. Stopping takes about a minute, so a few visits in that minute can still be identified and counted. If you raise the limit from the Website visitors settings, identification starts again within about a minute.
Identification also stops when you run out of credits. Visits identified while it stops are still counted, so your balance can go slightly below zero: the difference is taken from your next credits. Identification starts again within about 20 minutes of adding credits.
Frequently asked questions
Can Gojiberry tell me exactly who visited my website?
No. Website visitors recognizes the company, never the person. Gojiberry then adds people from that company who match your target, so they work at the company that visited you but may not be the visitor themselves.
Why was I charged for a company that wasn't added?
Every new company identified costs 4 credits, whatever happens next. Its row in the Activity tab explains why nobody was added: outside your target, in your blocklist, a competitor, or no matching contacts. You can still use Find contacts there to pick people yourself, at no extra cost.
Does a company that comes back cost credits again?
No. A company is charged once per campaign. Its later visits are free and add a "visited your website again" signal to your contacts at that company.
How do I pause it?
Open Website visitors in your campaign's lead sources and switch it off. No companies are identified while it's paused. Switch it back on whenever you like. To stop for good, use Delete signal: the leads already added are kept.
I installed the script but nothing shows up. What should I check?
Visits show up about half an hour after the visitor leaves your website, so wait a little first. Then check that the script is on every page, that the exact address of your site (with or without "www") is in your domains list, that your agent's targeting includes the countries your visitors come from, and, if you use the consent line, that your cookie banner starts tracking when visitors accept. Also check that your monthly limit hasn't been reached and that you have credits left.
Can I track several websites?
Yes. Add up to 5 domains in the setup window and install the same script on each of them.
