How to Use AI Templates

If you want to personalize your outreach messages even more, you can use our AI Templates to dynamically tailor your messages for every campaign 😊

Here is how the AI Template system works, where to find it, and how to apply your templates to your active campaigns:

1. How AI Templates Work

AI Templates allow you to define a specific structure, tone, and set of instructions for Gojiberry's AI engine to follow when drafting your messages.

  • Dynamic Customization: The AI automatically extracts variables from enriched prospect profiles (like job title, company name, or industry signals) and weaves them naturally into your template instructions.

  • Controlling the Output: If you provide a very short, basic template, the AI will naturally try to expand on it. If you want the AI to follow your instructions more strictly, expand your template with more detailed constraints, structural rules, and tone guidelines.

2. How to Create an AI Template

You can build and manage your custom structures directly from your account settings.

  • Navigate to Settings -> Account Settings in your left-hand menu.

  • Click on the AI Outreach Templates tab along the top navigation bar.

  • Click the Create New Template button.

In there, you can write out your template, define the exact structure, and use insertable tags (like FirstName, Company, or Intent) to utilize the lead information and AI

Another thing you can do with your templates is utilize the AI Instructions, this way you can add tone, general instructions, context, etc.

Making your AI messaging more flexible and custom-made according to your liking

3. How to Apply a Template to a Campaign

Once your template is saved, you can apply it to any of your automated campaign steps.

  • Navigate to the Agents tab on the left-hand menu and select the agent campaign you wish to edit.

  • Click on the Campaign tab at the top of the agent screen.

  • Find the step where you want to use the template (such as your Send LinkedIn Message step) and click Edit.

  • Under the Use a template section, click the dropdown menu and choose your newly created custom template

  • Click Save Step to apply the changes 😄
